Aisha Ayan is a cultural theorist and essayist whose work specialises in Nigerian culture and society. Her practice merges academia with social discourse, exploring how global and local forces influence cultural production and everyday life.

She draws from a background in law, knowledge development, and digital media. She is currently pursuing an MSc in Culture and Society in the Department of Sociology at the London School of Economics and Political Science (2025–26).
